So here's something I did a lot of work on last spring, and intended to post about, but obviously that never happened.  (I'm always most creatively driven when I have something else to be procrastinating from...)

This is a version where two teams, from a human world and a troll world, are told that they're going to be competing against aliens to win--I'm too lazy to look at the notes right now, but I think both worlds are threatened with destruction and the winning team gets to save their planet and/or create a new one.  (At least, that's what they're told at first.)  Different home planets, same Medium; yes, that means shared moons.  I'm ignoring any alpha/beta revisionverses in favor of there being one human team and one troll team, each with nine members; I ignored about half the Noah because of characterization reasons (if I only know three things about them, one of those being their name, I can't get into their headspace).  Humans are largely Exorcists, trolls are largely Noah; I didn't feel creative enough to try mixing that up, vice versa or with integrated teams.

I actually have a semi-fleshed-out storyline for this 'verse, where two-thirds of the characters (including all time/space players) die horribly for one reason or another and the remaining six have to team up for survival, regardless of species (and regardless of who may have murdered whom in the past).  I'll go over some of that in a later post, maybe?  Same for lands, sprites, backstories, etc.  (wrt titles: I spent a looooong time angsting over classes and aspects, based on my understanding/headcanon from something like a few years ago.  At some point I intend to research more recent developments in canon for that.  I still haven't read beyond D.Gray-chapter 203, and the last page of HS I read had Jade meeting Calliope in a dream.  It's been awhile.)

wrt trollness--

Aillen (red/maroon/etc.) is psychic in that he can see and hear ghosts(/souls?), though he can't always influence them? He's never manifested psionics. Functions like the Sight, basically.

Szkinn (brown/etc.) has minor psy/psi, not super powerful but enough to make fighting him more interesting than fighting a psi-null; the psychic aspect mostly contributes to his instability and anger issues. (He basically can perceive everything a person has ever done wrong and how guilty they feel about it, or at least the big stuff, or if they're dwelling on it? Only the nasty side of things, which gives him kind of a bitter, judgemental view of others. Needless to say, people with something to hide tend to avoid him. He's not into blackmail though--the idea disgusts him.)

Tyki (Tycatl)(yellow/etc.) is a moderately powerful psionic, not psychic (thankfully for anyone fighting him; like Szkinn, he's highblood-grade unstable, at least until he hits god tier. Unlike Szkinn, he's a sadist/blood-knight).

Sachko (olive/etc.) is a psi-null, but she's really good at making things blow up! You could say it's a talent of hers~ (People who cross her tend to regret it, if they survive.)

Wisely (teal/etc.) is a fairly powerful psychic who can literally make people's heads explode, or fuck with their memories, read minds, etc. Overuse of this gives him excruciating headaches, so he uses it sparingly. ('Eavesdropping' telepathically is low-risk; he's got a reputation for being extremely nosy!) Zero psionics?

Eliade (cerulean/etc.) is a psi-null, but most people don't mess with her anyway. She's not very social, but is careful not to make enemies--or makes sure to kill them before they can make trouble for her. Has something of an ice-queen reputation.

Lubell (blue/indigo) is a psi-null who's as adept at intimidating/terrifying people as she is at killing them; her childhood friends used to joke about her secretly having 'voodoos. (Most of them are dead now, incidentally.)

Jasdev (Jasder/Devitt)(indigo/purple) have chucklevoodoos that, among other things, make it seem like they're reality warpers. They're extremely fond of using this to fuck with people for no good reason.

Rhode (seadweller/violet) is inexplicably psychic, specializing in illusions and mindfuckery. Not super strong, but very, very good at using it. (Doesn't read minds as obviously or as thoroughly as Wisely, though she's leagues better at manipulating people.)

(After the domino cascade of deaths is over, the only players left standing are Kanda, Lenalee, Lavi, Aillen, Rhode, and Tyki. All but Lavi are god tier by then; Lavi...takes a while to get over his issues before he can achieve it.

Aillen established himself as friendly early on, and Rhode never *directly* killed any of the human players, but Tyki personally accounted for three of them, regardless of any Rhode-related extenuating circumstances. Kanda/Lena/Lavi are not super happy about having to deal with him!)
