I love Lee too. He and Shino and Shikamaru are some of my favorite characters. (Shikamaru is my HERO~)
I loved the episode Team 8 appeared in. The awful pacing and animation in the latter part of the Save Gaara arc was getting me down, but then Tobi and Sai and Ino and Shino and Hinata made everything better~ Oh, Shino. The only reason I'm not a complete rabid fangirl is my horribly inconvenient bug phobia.
Erk, they messed that up too? X3 I didn't notice. Did you know that Jiraiya's nose wart was actually supposed to be a nose ring? Those crazy animators...
